Take Your Pick

Shops around Sydney seem to start working on ‘extended’ hours. For example, this weekend, there were some big shops who did an extension of about one hour than their usual closing hours. I was chatting with one sales person and I was informed that they will be having more of these extended shop hours by opening early and closing a bit late. The reason is obvious and that is because of the tradition of gift giving. Whether it is an expensive jewelry, some chocolates or even a shiny copper tile, these extended hours can give you a little bit more time to take your pick. And I guess you better be quick because once the gift giving frenzy is over, everything goes back to the usual hours.
