A few weeks back when we were still looking for a rental home, we stumbled upon this really nice looking house with polished timber floors. Ironically, its beauty somehow pushed us away from liking it. Well, it’s probably because of the huge risk of damaging such fragile flooring. Compared to say, glass tile, such material is probably more prone to scratches. Here in Sydney, as rental bonds are typically in place, tenants are probably better off taking ‘low maintenance’ rentals.
