This is probably one of the most unwanted season here in Australia. While summer is typically a festive time here, the increased risk for bush fires does create a bit of anxiety. It is comforting that there are several initiatives to be more prepared for the unexpected. And preparation probably does not really come out of mere common sense. A BA in fire service administration could be great in providing knowledge and tools to anyone who is involved in providing such public service. With what happened to ‘Black Saturday’ in Victoria last year, the battle cry has now become clear. Be prepared. I guess that is indeed the best thing to do.
