Last week I wrote about how people still swarm around during rental inspections here in Sydney. Anyway, we have managed to get a new rental. I guess from stories I heard from other friends, one of they key factor to get a rental locked in is to quickly submit the application together with all supporting the documents. The more the better! To further support the application, it is important to maintain good rental history. And that can be easily done by taking care of the property and abiding with all the conditions in the contract. That may be as simple as asking permission before setting up mounts on walls. Of course, ensuring the payments are made regularly cannot be understated. All of the above should increase the chances of getting a rental property in these times.
