About a couple of decades ago, the presence of telephone directory or similar listings is so important. It is probably one of the most (if not the most) important way of reaching out to people. I could not imagine doing a lot of things without such directories. While it may still be true that printed telephone directories are still being published and distributed because it has its use (other than for recycling purposes), I believe there is a lot more to be offered by what I shall call as ‘rainbow pages’.
