It is just a few more days and it is officially winter 2009 here in Australia. While there are forecasts that it will be a warmer winter (because of the El Niño phenomenon), right now, it still feels a bit too cold for comfort.
Anyway, appliances shops are on the peak of advertising a wide range of heaters and other devices to keep people warm. As these devices are quick to make the electric bill shoot up, it is important to strategize. One is to use only a single heating device and just snuggle up in one room. The whole experience becomes even better with a comfortable sleep number bed. With some extra warm bodies inside the room, I would not doubt the possibility of eventually doing away with heaters.
