Just Awesome: QVB

by liau on April 23, 2009

When you talk about beautiful buildings in Sydney, the Opera House is probably one to make the top of the list. Certainly, there are other great structures which do not usually make the post card photos. I think one of them is the Queen Victoria Building (QVB). Located right in the heart of the CBD, this building will not go unnoticed. I can’t help but admire this building with its beautiful architectural design. It was originally built in 1898 and was restored in the mid-80’s. It is now home to several retail shops, making it as a popular shopping destination in Sydney.

I have preferred to feature a closer look in one of the exterior walls of this building. As they put it here in Australia, it’s just awesome!
