Watching the fireworks display at the Sydney Harbour is a definite must-see for anyone spending the new year celebrations here. The best spots to watch the fireworks are definitely full of spectators. Some even spend the previous night on the parks just to get into position. On the other hand, some stay at more distant parks but still have a decent view of the fireworks show. We ourselves stayed at the Berry Island Reserve at Wollstonecraft to watch the display at 9 pm and 12 midnight.

Ang pagnood ng fireworks display sa Sydney Harbour ay isa sa mga dapat makita ng sinumang nagdiriwang nga bagong taon dito. Ang mga magagandang lugar na panooran ng fireworks ay tiyak na puno ng mga manonood. Ang iba nga ay natutulog na sa mga ‘parks’ para masiguro ang posisyon. Sa kabilang banda, ang iba naman ay nagtutungo na lamang sa mas malayong ‘parks’ na mayroon pa ring magandang ‘view’ ng palabas na fireworks. Kami ay nagtungo sa Berry Island Reserve sa Wollstonecraft para panoorin ang fireworks display ng 9 n.g. at alas-dose ng hating-gabi.
