Kookaburra

Kookaburras are large birds that you would frequently see in Australia. Before you even see one, you’ll probably notice its unique sound. It sounds like they are laughing (hence, one type is appropriately called laughing kookaburra). It is common to find them in residential areas as well as parks and places where there is abundant food source. This photo was taken at Clifton Gardens in Mosman, NSW.
